Skating in General
I have been skating for about 2 years now and going on
my 3rd summer. Through skateboarding I have experienced a lot. Skating isn't just to look cool. You can meet a lot of gay
people when you skate. Overall you become a better person when you do skate.
Truthfully I kind of did start skating
just to wear the clothes. I was so worried about being a poser, and was very careful. I made myself learn to ollie things
before I even put on a skate shirt. When I did wear the dickies and the skate shirts finally I felt awesome. However I didn't
just start because of that. The people that were skating back in the day inspired me. I thought they were so awesome, and
I wanted to be like them. I hopped on my new black label and started up the chain of people. I skated around with Dylan C,
Micah L., and Gabe Wood at first. Then I met Kriz Norberg. He really inspired me and now I just skate for the fun of it with
my close friends.
Dylan was like my main person to skate with at first. I thought he was the coolest person in the
whole damn world. After awhile I turned into his person to make fun of. I hate being that person (sorry Mike G. but you kind
of are that person for 4/4). I soon broke off that flamer and just skated with Tanner, Mike, Alex, and Kriz. Dylan is a huge
asshole now. I don’t know why he has to be so gay to me but he is. The world is also gay to skateboarders. We are classified
as druggies when I haven’t even touched anything of the sort. Although some skaters are bad, it really isn’t all
of them. Not even close.
Skating has brought me so much in life. You get fit, think better, and just feel good. Especially
when you land a trick you have been trying to get for a while. I have met great people and experienced great things. Skating
is, to me, the way I get by. And to and from places. Haha. Skating is a great thing to take up. I thank everyone who has helped
me on in my skating career. Many good times ahead boys. E-dub ---OUT
